The Landmark Woodward's Department Store has been transformed into a socially, environmentally and economically sustainable development that will play a significant role in the revitalization of the Downtown Eastside.  This 1,160,862 square foot development is comprised of four buildings of market housing, non-market housing, SFU School for the Contemporary Arts, retail space, office space, day care, and an outdoor plaza with gardens and galleria.  Designed by Henriquez Partners, this development was able to achieve LEED Silver certification and features Stan Douglas public art.
