Ben actively participates in the acquisition, financing, development, redevelopment and management of each asset in the Peterson portfolio.
In 1983, Ben graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) as a Doctor of Dental Medicine and went on to start a successful dental practice in Vancouver. At the same time, he began to follow in his father’s entrepreneurial footsteps and focused his career in real estate. In 2000, Ben divested his dental practice and took over from his father, and the founder of Peterson, Peter Young.
Ben devotes his time to serving the community as a Board Member of the Vancouver General Hospital & UBC Hospital Foundation, UBC Faculty of Dentistry, as a Director of Tung Lin Kok Yuen Canada Society, Tung Lin Kok Yuen Canada Foundation and as Vice President of the Shandong Natives Association of BC.

After 8 years in public practice as a Chartered Accountant, Beverly joined Peterson in 2005 in the position of Controller. In her current role as Vice President, Finance, Beverly leads the strategic direction and coordination of the Company’s financial planning, cash management, debt financing, budget management, and accounting and tax functions.
Beverly serves as a Director for Cooking for a Cause Society, a not-for-profit society that cooks and distributes nutritious, delicious and wholesome food to under resourced children and their families in local communities.

Bruce joined Peterson in 2014, after a 34 year career in commercial real estate finance in both Toronto and Vancouver, including his most recent position at a Canadian bank where he had overall management responsibility for acquisition, development and term financing to public and private companies across Canada.
Bruce graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and has held past directorships of Urban Development Institute, Pacific Region, Pacific Salmon Foundation, Vancouver Economic Commission, District of West Vancouver Finance Advisory Committee and West Vancouver Soccer Club.

Joining Peterson in 1996, Dave is responsible for leading the Commercial team in the management, re-development, revitalization and repositioning of Peterson’s properties in all asset classes.
Dave has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia, with majors in both Urban Land Economics and Finance, and is a member of Building Manager and Owners Association (BOMA) BC.
In his spare time, Dave is actively involved in coaching girls’ field hockey in support of his two daughters.

As Vice President, Corporate Relations, Jane oversees the Peterson Foundation whose mandate is to support initiatives that effect positive change in the community and inspire philanthropy in others. Jane joined Peterson in 2003 in the position of Director of Human Resources.
With her children and friends, Jane is co-founder of Cooking for a Cause, a not-for-profit society that cooks and distribute nutritious, delicious and wholesome food to under resourced children and their families in local communities. She has also served on the Board of the BC Cancer Foundation from 2013 to 2015 and led the committee to create the inaugural “Hope Couture” event, an fashion show and luncheon fundraiser which continues to be a driving force to help raise money for cancer research initiatives.

Raymond leads Peterson’s investment activities to identify new business opportunities and analyze and complete transactions in all assets classes across North America. Joining Peterson in June 2013 in the role of Vice President, Investments, Raymond has 18 years of experience in the real estate industry.
Raymond is a Chartered Accountant and Certified Public Accountant (Illinois) and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University. He serves the real estate community as Director of NAIOP and as Chair of the NAIOP Education Committee.
Investment and Development
Joining Peterson in 2009 with 5 years of experience in mortgage underwriting, Evan leads the development and growth of Peterson Capital’s commercial mortgage lending business.
Evan graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2001 with a Bachelor of Commerce in Urban Land Economics (Real Estate) and has completed the Canadian Securities Course, (Hons).
Tim is responsible for handling and underwriting real estate acquisitions and investments as well as sourcing and managing Peterson’s development activities. Tim began his career at Peterson in 2008 then left the Company in 2011 to gain experience with a local Vancouver-based development company to gain knowledge and expertise in real estate development. Tim then returned to Peterson in 2014.
Tim graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering with Distinction from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in 2008 and completed his Diploma in Urban Land Economics through UBC Sauder School of Business in 2013. Tim currently serves as a U40 Committee Member for the Urban Development Institute, Pacific Region.

Dave joined Peterson as General Manager of Portage Place in 2008 bringing with him 30 years of retail management experience. In 2013 he obtained the Certified Shopping Centre Manager (CSM) designation from the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC).
Dave is a member of the Winnipeg’s Downtown Business Improvement Zone, serving on the Board, the Executive Committee, the Downtown Safety, and Marketing and Events Committees.
In 2013, Dave was honoured to be a recipient of the Mayor’s Award for his commitment to the revitalization of Downtown Winnipeg.

Drew joined Peterson in 1989 as Project Manager and is involved with both new construction projects and renovations to existing buildings.
Drew received a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of British Columbia and an Alpha Rho Chi Medal for Leadership. For over 30 years Drew was a member of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia and served on the AIBC Communications Committee, he continues to work closely with architects on current Peterson projects.

Steve joined Peterson in 1995 as a member of the maintenance team and has taken on progressively broader roles and responsibilities through the positions of Chief Building Engineer, Operations Manager, Commercial Division General Manager and currently as Manager, Facilities & Environmental Technologies. Steve has achieved his British Columbia Provincial 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate, Property Manager License and his Facilities Management Administrator designation.
Steve’s diverse experience includes, leading capital projects, negotiating multi-property service contracts, evaluating property acquisitions and putting into service high profile developments.
Joining Peterson in 2013, David leads the residential property management team. His 10 years of prior industry experience includes a position with the Real Estate Council of B.C. as a Property Management Compliance Officer and progressive senior management positions with some of Vancouver’s largest and most well-known strata management companies.
David earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo, a Diploma in Urban Land Economics from the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business, and is licensed as a Managing Broker.
Susy joined Peterson in 2011 with 15 years of experience in the strata accounting field including the centralization of accounts payable for a nationwide company as well as designing and documenting processes and procedures for internal audit control purposes. She is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations for all residential strata property accountants.
Susy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Simon Fraser University and is an active volunteer for the Maria Mimie Ho Foundation which promotes the Chinese culture through dance.
Vira joined Peterson Residential in 2010 and with her broad knowledge of the Strata Property Act, Residential Tenancy Act and requirements of other governing bodies, Vira ensures that her clients are aware of all available avenues to any given challenge or opportunity.
Arriving in Canada in 2002 from the Ukraine with her Masters of Mathematics from Lviv University, Vira obtained licenses in property management, strata management, trading and broker from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia.
