Building Operator, Residential

We are looking for a hands-on 5th Class Power Engineer to join our residential maintenance team as Building Operator at Langara Gardens, a 50-year old, 21-acre residential community. This role supports the day-to-day operations of the property, including inspections and maintenance of boilers, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems. This role will respond promptly to tenant work orders and help ensure the property is operating efficiently and in excellent condition. While previous experience is an asset, this position does not include supervisory responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for someone eager to develop their skills within a supportive team environment.

The ideal candidate is a strong problem-solver who adapts easily to different building environments and takes pride in delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm with rotational on-call and possible weekend shifts.

Salary Range: $67,000 – $72,000 per annum based on experience.
