Carmana Hotel & Suites, located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Houseperson to join our dedicated team. Our hybrid property offers both nightly stays in spacious suites and extended stays in high-rise residences, all designed with comfort, style, and exceptional guest service in mind.

As a key member of our housekeeping team, the Houseperson ensures all public spaces are clean, welcoming, and reflective of the hotel’s commitment to excellence. This is a physically active, fast-paced role that requires attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all public areas, including lobbies, elevators, meeting rooms, fitness areas, and parking.
• Assist the housekeeping team with guest room support, including delivering supplies, managing laundry, and setting up rooms as needed.
• Support hotel operations by helping with event setup, luggage deliveries, and special guest requests.
• Monitor and restock supplies, linens, and equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or irregularities to management.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to provide a seamless guest experience.

What You Bring

• Minimum of one year of housekeeping or hospitality experience.
• Ability to perform physically demanding and repetitive tasks and work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail, team-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional guest experiences.
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Salary Range: $28.00 to $29.00 Hourly
