Alberni by Kengo Kuma

In collaboration with Westbank, we developed Alberni by Kengo Kuma, a striking orthogonal residential tower in Vancouver’s Coal Harbour neighbourhood. Residents have the distinct honour of living and thriving inside a work of art.

Conceptualized by Kengo Kuma Architects and Associates and Merrick Architecture, Alberni by Kengo Kuma balances Japanese spatial traditions and modern, urban design. The building invites residents in with a flourishing moss garden that flows into a swimming pool, then leads them to their sleek, relaxing suites.

Alberni by Kengo Kuma provides residents with a serene getaway in the middle of the city. The building is conveniently located between the West End’s eclectic cafes and shops, Vancouver’s sprawling Stanley Park and the bustling central business district.
